Dear Participants, We are excited to announce the rules and regulations for the upcoming WEI- Moms in Business Awards (WEI-MBA), jointly hosted by Vasan Eye Care & Women Entrepreneurs India exclusively for women entrepreneurs in Tamil Nadu. This prestigious event aims to recognize and honor the journey of mompreneurs who balance motherhood and entrepreneurship. Here are the detailed guidelines to participate in this initiative:

**Details of the Event:**

- **Date:** May 13th, 2025

- **Time:** 4:00.m. - 5:00 p.m.

- **Location:** Vasan Eye Care, Chromepet, Chennai

- **Format:** Only 10 awards. Free Registration. It's not a paid award.

- **Refreshments:** Provided for all during Prize Distribution Only

- Video Submission Deadline: 12th May - 12 noon - Announcement of Winners: 12th May 6p.m.

1. **Eligibility Criteria:** a. Participants must be female entrepreneurs currently residing in Tamil Nadu. b. Participants must be mothers and have at least one child. c. Each applicant should be running a business or a startup that has been operational for at least one year. d. Register here and then mail the video. Video submissions without registration will be disqualified

2. **Video Submission Requirements:** a. Each contestant must submit a one-minute video featuring herself and her child. b. The video should showcase the participant discussing her entrepreneurial journey, challenges faced, and successes achieved. c. The video should be filmed in a quiet environment for better audio-visual quality. d. Videos should not exceed one minute in length and must be submitted in a standard video format (mp4 or mov). e. Participants must ensure that the content in the video is appropriate and respectful.

3. **Submission Process:** a. Video submissions must be sent to the official Mompreneurs Awards email address contact@womenentrepreneursindia.com by the specified deadline. b. Each submission must include the following details: full name, business name, contact number, and a brief description of the business (100 words).

4. **Judging Criteria:** a. The jury will evaluate each video based on content clarity, storytelling, creativity, and emotional impact. b. Candidates should express their passion for their business and how they balance it with motherhood. c. The jury will consist of successful entrepreneurs, business professionals, and parenting experts. 5. **Awards:** a. A total of 10 awards will be presented to the top entries based on the jury's evaluation. b. Winners will be notified by email and publicly announced at the award ceremony. c. Winning mompreneurs will receive a trophy and other exciting prizes that will be announced later.

6. **Important Dates:** a. Submission Deadline: 11th May 12 noon b. Announcement of Winners: 11th May 8p.m. 7. **Disqualification:** a. Any application that does not comply with the above rules and regulations will be disqualified. b. Participants must respect the integrity of the awards; any form of manipulation or dishonest representation will result in immediate disqualification.
